Comments: I love these reels. I got one to check out the "hype", and it's real. Now it's not a $500 reel so let's get that out the way now, but it can cast a country mile and the build quality is great. The brake adjustments are great and simple to make even with cold hands. All this and you don't have to worry about losing side plate because it's captured. I now have 3 of them, all in 10.5 to 1. I kayak fish largemouth at least 2 days a week in summer and have a year and a half with these and no complaints

Comments: I have purchased almost every version of the speed demon. The elite being the most recent but purchased a year ago. Like KastKing and all but I feel that the Elite was a general waste of money at this point. Wasn't even a couple weeks and all of a sudden the spool doesn't engage anymore after casting meaning I could not retrieve any line. The only workaround was to literally MP5 slap the handle and that was the only way the spool would engage. When the disconnect would happen it would also sound like gears were grinding. Been reaching out to the company for a while now but no one has gotten back to me and like I said, its already been a little over a year. Pretty disappointed after the first 2 gens did so well and I still own them. Haven't seen or heard of any fixes and at this point I am guessing we won't see any fixes.

Comments: I see a ton of positive reviews but I must've just gotten a lemon. Thing is super noisy and not smooth at all and I cannot seem to get it dialed in. Backlashes so easily it's incredibly frustrating. I'm no stranger to baitcasters and I have reels half as expensive as this that work far better. Disappointed.

Comments: I have an older speed demon reel from Kast King, and the new one I just bought is better than the older model. I cast farther, the reel  reels smother as well as feels great in my hand. I own other brand reels at a higher cost, yet the new Kast King Seed demon is my go to 90% of my flipping and pitching use. I have found it great in ledge fishing a worm as well. This is money well spent if you need a good casting high speed reel.

Comments: Taken it out four times now. This thing zooms, sounds like a machine when it sends the lure out. Very smooth and its speed lives up to its name. Throws sub-1/2oz plastics as far as my other casters can throw bucktails. Compared to my Blackmax and Lew's speed, it also has more clearance and headspace from the frame without being bigger.

Comments: This is my first baitcaster in almost 20 years since I've had one. I've only used it twice so far the first day was great getting use to it very smooth and very fast reeling. The second time I took it out went to turn the drag down a little bit but turned the wrong knob and caught a backlash from hell. Had to take almost half the string off the spool but all in all it's a great reel I hope to get a few more having them rigged up with different lures with less time trying different baits out.

Comments: I purchased 2 Kastking Speed Demons and have loved fishing with them. So when they came out with the Speed Demon Elite, I just had to purchase one. Juist a shout out to "Tackle Warehouse". My first Reel was defective. I returned it and they sent a new one out to me immediately. They are great with their Customer Service. As for the Reel, I absolutely love it. I am 100% a Kastking Fan and will continue to be one. Today I purchased a Kastking Royal Legend GT Reel. Looking forward to trying it out. I highly recommend Kastking Reels.

Comments: Great reel for sure. It's easy to dial in for the breaks, and it casts a mile once it's properly set up. I can use this reel without thumbing the spool. I only had one major backlash when setting it up the first time. Only have had a few minor overruns sine then. I love the 10.5.1 speed for sure.

Cannot seem to fully close the side plate since it only partially locks but can can open on casting. Otherwise I am sure there is a reason for this which I need to understand. Comments:I finally received my left hand retrieve one in September. The reel feels nice, has a great drag, and casts really well even with a light bait like a weightless senko. So far, the only bad thing is that my line guide bar came completely ungreased, so it was a bit grindy and loud. After applying some grease though, the reel is perfectly smooth.
