Comments: If you are looking for a realistic life like, great color and excellent action bluegill swim bait at an amazing price, look no further. This is it. Its is good from spring - fall but is incredible during bedding and blue gill spawn season. Buy one you will not regret it.

Comments: This is probably by far one of the better soft body bluegill lures I have used. I always get slammed on this guy. Awesome action. Not weedless but you can fish it through the weeds just fine. I've actually gotten most of the big guys fishing in the weeds with this. Otherwise, just retrieve right on the edge of the weeds or reeds or right off the shore line and you're guaranteed to catch a few. This is in itself a pretty big lure so don't expect hook up ratio to be high.

Comments: Very good bait, used both this past weekend, great day, took a little while to find fish on them durability is an issue but couldn't tell you how to fix it, worth the money
From: Ronald: Monroe, TN 10/13/21
Comments: Love savage gear products! But when it comes to durability this bait fails. Only took one small 3 pounder to rip the tail off.

Comments: Great little bait. Needs a faster retrieve to get the necessary action. Caught a 3 pounder first time out with this bait.

Comments: Amazing look and good action at faster speeds. Good for fishing shallow water 10 ft or less
From: Jackie: WV 7/29/21
Comments: Looks great and swims well, however the material ripped on a standard hook set with a 4 power rod (2nd time using). Had to glue it back together.

Comments: I'm a weekend warrior and don't get as much time on the water as I would like. The times I have used the bait it looks and swims great, one of the best, economical bluegill imitation bait on the market. I can see a catfish eating this bait, my objective is a big bass. So time will tell. Bought 2 light gill and the dark one. I do recommend.

Comments: It's a great looking bait at a nice lighter weight than their other models. It has a nice action at a medium to faster retrieve speeds. However, it loses action at slower speed. A 3/4 pulse tail would be a better option if it existed.
From: Carl: Chicago, IL 6/26/21
Comments: Not impressed with the bait. Its advertised as being able to swim at slow speeds which is not the case. The bait needs to be swam at a medium to fast retrieve to get it swimming. Savage gear should have done more R&D with this bait. Love many of their other products just wish they spent a bit more time refining this one.

Comments: Fantastic colors and swimming action. I do wish there was a lighter option for a slower sink though.

Comments: All in all a good swim bait for the price. A bit inconsistent action at slower retrieve speeds but great with a burn pause retrieve.
From: Shaun: New Hampshire 5/16/21
Comments: These are made with durable plastic but the trade off is that they don't have that good of action swim wise. They need to be retrieved a bit on the fast side for the tail to wag.

Comments: Got this realistic finished BlueGill pattern and looking forward to put it in water. Amazing life like and soft tail.
