Comments: Best darn natural shad bait imitation I have ever seen. I catch a lot of fish on this bait. I have thrown it everywhere (Lake Ontario, Finger Lakes, and St. Lawrence River) in New York State. It is more deadly in late August and September. This bait is exactly how natural shad look. Wobble is killer and the bass love it. Swim it fast then slow, then fast again. Throw it anywhere. Obviously, the big hook can catch a lot of weeds.

Comments: What can I say, really? Its my go to bait. I have almost all thr colors and backups of the primary ones. Its the first, and the last bait I throw. The hard nock baits are tough, rarely need tuning out of the package and fish chomp em. I've had good luck running the hooks they come with (at least for a while). Great color options, and "they just get work done". I run these on a 6'6" st croix glass cranking rod and an abu garcia revo sx 6 speed and wither 12 or 15lb flouro (usually 12).

Great for running levee banks and dragging island points/In-between sparse tule clumps. I do upgrade the hooks though. Caught a 8 lbs 9 oz largemouth Sept 2021. So yes! I started trolling the Erie Canal with 1.0's in multiple colors and crush on them with every species you can imagine. Liking them so much, I bought the 4.0's and do very well on Pike and large mouth with them. I truly don't believe you can go wrong with any of the Strike King KVD square bills. Looking to target Smallmouth with this one, but I know it too will catch a variety of fish.
