Comments: I purchased three of these spinnerbaits two in 1/2oz and one in 3/8oz. I'm more impressed with the 3/8oz size than the two 1/2oz sizes. While they run great and have a strong thin wire and vibrate at the first reel turn, they have a couple faults. Firstly the hook size on the 1/2oz is described as a 5/0 hook, I find that hard to believe because it's tiny, it's the same size as the 3/8oz spinner bait, normally I'll pair a 4.3 sized swimbait on my 1/2oz spinnerbaits but due to the shape and small size of the hook and placement of the keeper and the weight extending out onto the majority of the hook, it forces a smaller bait 3.8 or smaller, and looks strange on the larger profile spinnerbaits. Secondly I found the amount of strands on the skirt to be lacking, there's probably only 20 strands and doesn't hide the hook well like a majority of other spinner baits on the market that use 50 and 60 strands in their skirts. Lastly the blades are huge, and normally wouldn't be to much of an issue had the skirt, hook, and swimbait been larger to match the overall profile. The 3/8oz is damn near perfect, and the home run in this lineup. Although again I'd like to have seen more skirt material, it's not as big of an issue because the overall profile is smaller. I'd skip the 1/2oz imo and focus on the 3/8oz in the Z-man lineup as it's similar to the Megabass V-3 in profile.

Comments: I use Z Man Sling Bladez more than any other spinnerbait, if only because Nichols are a few dollars more. The 3/8oz is my favorite and I use a Yum Pulse swimbait as a trailer.

Comments: UPDATE: These things have now become my only spinnerbait i rely on. IDK what it is thats so differnet aobut them but they work. Yesterday was TOUGH; strong east wind, front moving in, windy, high water, dirty, post spawn. Took these across weedy flats and tore em up.

Comments: I bought a 1/2 pearl ghost prior to a tournament to test out and was very impressed. Because of the great keeper I have used it exclusively with a Keitech easy shiner and it has been fantastic. I've missed just one fish out of dozens of bites even with the single hook. It always swims upright regardless of retrieval speed. Overall a super solid spinnerbait and I plan to buy more.

Comments: Used a Sling Blade, 1/2oz white yesterday and TORE EM UP!! 25 plus in a few hours. Good thump, durable VERY flexible wire, these may replace Strike king finnesse and BPS Lazer Eye as my choice.
