Comments: I can't say enough good about this rod. I bought 2 7.3 med heavy they are awesome i wished i would have bought these before I spent money on Cashion rods I do not like the micro guides.

Comments: The HFX line of rods are the best rods I've ever used for the money. The high quality guides, rod sensitivity and durability are as good or better than some of the $500 rods I've used in the past.

Comments: bought the 610 med xtra fast and the 7ft medium cranking rod after my uncle and the guy who helped design these rods pushed me towards buying them! I immediately fell in love with the 7ft med cranking rod! nice backbone, and a super solid squarebill up to medium diving cranks. ive put it through its paces and will recommend it to anyone who asks, i almost even bought the stouter cranking rod but my 610 med HFX rod derailed that plan. 1st fish it was a breeze! admittedly it was a dink but still everything from the action to the rod being a TRUE medium unlike some others we all know. 5-6 casts later I could barely get bend in the rod when a healthy LMB hit and SNAP, tip of the rod broke! what's even worse is I was eager to get the fish in my boat, I didn't notice the super sharp piece of carbon shard i guess Youd call it, that it left behind right above the eyelid below where it broke off. so not only did i loose 150$ HFX, that sharp shard cut my line, and the fish swam right passed my lowrance trolling motor for a final see Ya later with my favorite colored 110jr jerk bait (the chartreuse backed color) hanging on its lips! ill be attempting to warranty the rod thru halo myself as im eager if the reviews are true about American Baitworks warranty dept not the best at honoring their rods. Ill update this review with the warranty department experience as well as when i get the replacment and put it through its paces but as of right now i cannot recommend the 610 for obvious reasons but the 7ft cranking stick is a performer at 150$ price point!

Comments: Okay first off I want to say that if I just happened to get two duds I apologize but I really feel that is not the case. This rod was one of my favorite rods I have ever owed but it has one very big flaw. The way you tighten the reel onto the rod is not a normal screw down it is a foam piece that you screw down until the rod is tight. On the two rods that I bought both stripped out and were unusable. I have had this happen on a Shimano rod as well so I think it is just a design flaw. Customer service was great and I just got a XDIII and it's nice but not good as the HFX. PLEASE HALO IF YOU SEE THIS MAKE THE SCREW A NORMAL PLASTIC MECHANISM! To summarize I would not recommend anyone buying this rod unless they fix this issue

Comments: I fished with the 7' medium crank rod for the first time yesterday and it is flawless for throwing small square bills and medium divers. Nice backbone with a soft tip an is light and comfortable. I really do not have anything negative to say about this rod I am glad I purchased it

Comments: I used one of these rods from a guide in Florida and he said that the Halo HFX rods are some of the most sensitive rods he's used including his NRX. I thought to myself yeah right so I picked one up and threw a chatter bait and I was blown away. The most sensitive rod I own is my Expride and this Halo HFX is right up there. It has a longer handle which I like with the same guides as my Expride. Bottom line is you can't beat the price on this rod for what you get. Extremely sensitive, great backbone, beautiful blank and guides it's really a no brainer. Absolutely incredible rods especially for the price. You wonât be disappointed check them out

Comments: Hands down one of the best rods I've ever owned. For the price you can't beat it. It feels like a 300 dollar rod.
