Overview

Designed with cutting-edge materials and an innovatively customizable interior, the Buzbe Colony 28 Modular Tackle Box is the next generation of tackle organization. Built to end common frustrations experienced with some boxes currently on the market, the Buzbe Colony 28 features removable bins to expertly manage your tackle without the possibility of your smaller hooks or swivels slipping under or over traditional dividers. In addition to stowing your terminal tackle, soft plastics, and hard baits securely, the modular bins also offer fully customizable performance thanks to the HEXLOK grid system that allows anglers to arrange their bins to best suit their individual needs.

To keep up with even the most rugged anglers, the Buzbe Colony 28 Modular Tackle Box boasts industrial strength materials and componentry throughout. Over-engineered with military-grade plastics and 316 stainless steel hinges and latches, it can take a beating without compromising its structural integrity. To help protect your expensive investments, it utilizes a molded airtight gasket as well as a special additive in the plastic that emits a hardware-coating anti-rust vapor. Meticulously designed with premium materials from base to lid, the highly innovative Buzbe Colony 28 Modular Tackle Box sets the new standard of what tackle organization should perform like.

Exterior Dimensions:
9” x 14” x 2”

Colony 28 Includes:
(2) 1x1 Bins (3) 1x2 Bins (4) 1x3 Bins (1) 1x4 Bin (1) 2x2 Bin

Modular Internal Bins – Individual modular internal bins come in a variety of sizes to allow for a truly customizable layout.

Rust Preventative – Special plastic additive emits a harmless vapor that coats contents of the box and prevents rust. Prolong life of expensive lures, hooks, weights and other fishing tackle.

Customizable HEXLOK Grid System – Grid system allows for a customizable internal layout. Modular internal bins secure into place with HEXLOK. Additional internal bins sold here.

Industrial-Strength – Over-engineered from military-grade plastic with 316 stainless steel hinge and latch trim. Impact-resistant, clear lid is made from the same material as bullet-proof glass. *NOT intended to stop bullets*

Quik-Pop Access – Latches are designed to “pop” up and away from the lid in one quick motion. Simply pull up on the latch from underneath while keeping all other fingers clear from the top side of the stainless steel latch strap to achieve quick access.

Military Grade Latches – Latch is made from a saltwater-rated 316 stainless steel latch strap and military-grade glass-filled nylon. If it’s tough enough for the military, then it’s tough enough for us.

Fortified Hinges – A wall of hinge supports span across the back side encasing a saltwater-rated 316 stainless steel hinge pin. Precisely designed for the lid to open and rest at a position in line with the bottom of the box.

Security Locking Hole – Use a padlock or locking cable to secure your box and contents. Reduce the threat of theft.

Just AwesomeHad for about a month now and great for fishing from shore. The Colony 28 holds everything I need for a days worth of fishing in my backpack. Spinnerbaits, crankbaits, glides, jerk baits, Magdrafts, etc. It’s truly a one size fits all tackle box. And, it’s built like a brick sh*t house!

Don't waste your moneyGreat concept but the bins will not stay in place. The only way to get them to stay is using super glue to hold them in place. Will not purchase again.

Pick one and love it.I spent literally thousands on Plano’s Edge boxes last year on Tim and Matt’s recommendation and now they’ve changed to a new favorite box. I like the Plano Edge boxes, strong, adaptive, great features but heavy as eff. Unless you have a large bass boat where you tackle is permanent, these boxes are too heavy for everyday fishing. I could have bought a really nice used boat for what I have invested.

Comments: Had high hopes for these, but they are Junk! And TACKLE KILLERS!!! Be Aware! After a season I realized some of the boxes weren't fitting anymore, and in a bunch of situations they actually cooked and ruined a bunch of my lures. And just now after looking closer I can see that even the little bins warped, so now 1/3 of my bins won't stay in place. Don't waste your $$$ on these. If I could I'd Sue for the $250 in lures it cost me + the cost of the boxes themselves.

Comments: I love these. I made the decision to switch to Buzbe tackle storage boxes this past fall. They are expensive but if you're as serious about your fishing as I am small things matter. The features, protection, and flexibility these offer makes it worth the price to me.

Comments: These are a great idea but somewhere along the way the quality has been overlooked. I purchased three of these and one box the actual box broke and on one of the other ones the bins started cracking. For the money you pay there shouldnt be any problems at all

Comments: I have a couple of these boxes and have the same trouble. Not all the bins lock in place, they keep popping loose very aggravating!

Comments: Really hard to keep the bins in place, they keep popping out and it's frustrating.
