Comments: Used the 8lb tied with an FG knot to 8lb braid. Used a trilene knot to my megabass swimbait head with a 3" hazedong Shad. Caught over 30 bass all the way up to 3lbs, snagged in rocks and brush and NEVER retied once! I've tried some expensive line that never came close to this, for the price. I think I'll be switching over!

Comments: Reading through the other reviews and I have some thoughts: 17 and 20 lb line is going to be STIFF. It's called 'goat rope' for a reason. Use line treatment and it will help. I saw another review where someone said this line cost them the ABA championship. Immediately I thought "why in the heck are you using a line you don't have 110% confidence in with THAT much on the line?". There is nothing wrong with this line, and right now it is on sale. You'll never know if a line is good until you try it yourself. Anyone writing a bad line review could have spooled up wrong, have a bad eye in a guide on their rod, left the line in the heat, etc etc. Try for yourself.

Comments: I've been using this line ever since I first saw it hanging on the rack, I figured what the heck.. for the price let's just try and see what happens! I think I picked up some 17 lb and some 12 and to my surprise had no issues! It lays on the spool really smooth, I don't understand why people leave comments about fluorocarbon and say that it's stiff.. it's fluorocarbon!!! If you're not looking for a stiff line then go to monofilament, fluorocarbon is meant to have the least amount of stretch and to be stiff I don't care what brand you buy and how much you pay for it, it's the nature of the line.. but with all that said I've only broke off one time and I'm not even going to say it was the line, I had Knicks in my line three feet up from my knot which is where it broke off surprisingly.. so I would say it's pretty abrasion resistant.. it could have broken off at anytime 3 ft up from where the hook was tied on! And I really think that it was my laziness of tying a Palomar knot.. I know people are going to criticize me for saying that, but people don't understand that knot on fluorocarbon digs into itself every time your line gets stretched tighter and tighter.. I usually tie a San Diego jam, but I was just being lazy that day so I'm going to blame that one on me! For the price I don't think you can beat it.. some people may argue with me on this but I really do like this line especially for the price! But before anybody reads any more reviews about how stiff it is please keep in mind that it's fluorocarbon... It's not monofilament!

Comments: As with all fluoro reviews, somebody's gonna say it's stiff. Come on people. That's the nature of fluorocarbon. You don't use it for its limpness, use mono. That being said, this line is as manageable as you'll find in any fluoro, I've fished em all, this is a super good line for the money, just a matter of time before it takes the market. Unless they raise the price, which in my opinion, is worth a few more bucks.

Comments: Awesome line. Low stretch, not too soft where the memory is horrible. Lower stretch than softer lines which equals to positive hooksets and buried hooks. Lays evenly on spool unlike softer fluorocarbon which tends to bunch. Haven't had any issues with abrasion or knots. Use twenty and flip the nastiest of the nasty.

Comments: I hate to give bad reviews especially on something in the fishing industry, but this line is absolute trash I have never broken off so many times in my life and I was using the 17 pound contra, it literally cost me a chance at winning the ABA championship in my division, I love a lot of the strike King products but strike king I hope you can read this and possibly correct it, I have no faith in it I'm sorry

Comments: This line is strong but a little stiff. I've been using the 20lb and 17lb and so far so good. Like I mentioned, its a little stiff, nothing some line conditioner couldn't handle. For the money, this line has handled well.
