Overview
Designed by Major League Fishing pro and chatterbait specialist Bryan Thrift, the Z-Man Big Blade Chatterbait provides maximum thump and vibration with an oversized hex-shaped ChatterBlade that is loaded with big bass attraction. A perfect option if the fish are keyed on large bait or when fishing extremely dirty or stained water, the Big ChatterBlade deflects well off of cover and displaces tons of water to draw fish from great distances.
Dual conical keeper barbs are molded into the shank of the hook to hold soft plastic trailers securely in place, and hand-tied silicone skirts are fastened with stainless steel wire to increase longevity. Equipped with a custom heavy-duty 6/0 Mustad UltraPoint hook, the Z-Man Big Blade Chatterbait is made for wrangling green gluttons out of your lake’s underwater jungles.

Comments: So i bought my 1st CB after Thrift won n it hit the market back in '06, to say this bait don't have a time n place to shine is simply foolish. Chocolate milk water in spring, this Thumper donks em. Trying to fish that 6"-4" just over the tops of that monster jungle flat? Money. Yo Yo-ing 14' deep fur trout gobbling post spawners, check. In my experince half the fish i've ever caught on this cricket is 3lbs plus up to 6.75lbs thus far in my 2 years since the Big Blade hit the market. In closing, argue with what Bryan Thrift does with a Chatter Cricket n see where that gets you.

Comments: Don't really get the concept of this bait, I have one in green pumpkin and fishes it the entire year and never caught one. I did a test between the mini max and the big blade. The mini max one by a LONG SHOT. Save ur money and get a mini max.

Comments: I think the blade does the opposite lol, I have caught zero fish with this. I have used this for about a year now, kinda funny I have caught more fish on a smaller chatterbait.

Comments: Not a big chatterbait fisherman. Bought a dobyns champion 736 glass chatterbait rod and daiwa 150 in 6.3 with 16lb sunline as my set up. Got this Z man big blade in 1/2 oz white. Decide to give it a shot today. The first two bass were 2.5lbers spawned out. Third fish was 8 lbs and next fish was 5.5 lbs. I felt a few more fish swipe at it. This chatterbait puts out a solid thump. The tip vibrates well. When a bass hits it even on a glass rod you feel it. Very Impressed.

Comments: First off - Big thanks TW for the Big Blade promotional offer! Second - This bait is going to set a trend in ultra-commotion baits, in my opinion. This bait maximizes your return on the reaction instinct. The size of the blade plus the bulk of the big skirt make it very high water resistance... paired with the buoyancy of a Razor Shadz it flutters really slowly on the fall. Flipping awesome bait!!! The snap is fine, maybe some folks got defective ones but I have pulled in 100 lb waterlogged trees off the bottom with mine and then turned around and caught more bass on them. No sweat.

Comments: Big Blade Equals Big Fish I honestly never got around to throwing the Original Chatter baits but one day I saw this at Bitters Baits in Longwood Fl and had to get it the first time taking out the package I got a 7.5 followed by a 5lbr and 4. The Big Blade def gets it done.

Comments: LOVE the action, completely different than any other chatterbait I've ever fished. I dont like the old school style snap they use, but still held up landing a 35lb Pacu and a 3lb LMB right after. This bait draws out the big fish with the big blade.

Comments: I love the action but the snap is weak and has opened up while fighting a 4 pound bass. Please upgrade the snap Z-Man.

Comments: It is the deal! The larger blade makes for a great reaction strike. I pair it with 6th Sense Flush. Highly recommended!

Comments: This bait is the real deal. Power fishing meets the bladed jig. I've caught 3 eight pounders already and only used it for 1 week.

Comments: I think this is my new favorite bait. The 5/8 oz seems to be the sweet spot for me. It might have moved ahead of the jackhammer in my book. Put a 6.5 inch Hog Farmer Spunk Shad on the back. I promise, you've never seen a tail wiggle more than on the Big Blade. Please add more colors and more painted blades.
