Comments: Fantastic rod; sensitive, light, but has enough backbone to handle big fish in dense cover. Would highly recommend.

Comments: This rod is a little heavier than expected, but still balances fairly well. The guides are good and it cast very well. I bought the 7MH for a Frog rod. This is a good rod for the price point .

Comments: These rods are great! I have 8 of them now, and I use them every weekend in bass tournaments. They are light, sensitive and strong. You will not be disappointed with these period.

Comments: I have to say these are my favorite rods I own. I have a 7' M Fast spinning rod for my finesse fishing, a 7'H Extra Fast for frogging and a 7'11 Heavy for Heavy Flipping. These rods are lightweight and sensitive and fit their rating perfectly. Very impressed with these rods especially with the $120-$150 price point.

Comments: I have to say that these are the best rods out there in that $100-$150 price range. These rods are very lightweight and sensitive and I also love the spinning rods. If you are looking for a great rod that's not too expensive, then buy this.

Comments: Absolute best rod for the money really sensitive and very durable with great actions for most techniques

Comments: I'm very impressed/happy with this purchase. At a budget friendly price point of $120, you get tremendous value and quality with the Veritas. I got the 7 foot medium action and its one of the most balanced rods I have owned. very tip sensitive. Handles soft plastics and Texas rigs with ease. There are great rod options in the $120 price range. This rod outperforms a few of the "higher end" models out there in my opinion. Pros: tip sensitive, great balance, lightweight, cool aesthetics cons: foam handles are white so that will get dirty with use (very minor con)

Comments: I like the veritas rods very much, I have replaced all my old fishing rods with a variety of different veritas rods, they are light weight and very strong, I have owned a few veritas rods from 6-7 years ago and have replaced the rest of my other poles in the last year with veritas rods, I have not had a single issue with any of the rods, the old ones work as well as the new ones. all my rods have a variety of abu garcia bait casting reels on them, the reels paired with the rods make a perfect reliable trouble free combination for fishing.

Comments: Good rod but I hate the grips they get dirty super fast hopefully the new veritas tournament edition is better

Comments: Awesome rod, cant recommend this enough, great sensitivity, great back bone for strength. I have the 7 ft medium heavy fast action , for strictly topwater. This rod does very very well, I even use it for frogging and it slays. Awesome rod

Comments: Definitely a good rod, light weight, comfortable to fish with all day, amazing price point, the fast action rods have a softer tip which in my opinion is better than the stiffer tips the previous models have. I feel the softer tip improves casting accuracy and helps keep the fish pinned. I own 4 of these rods. Definitely check them out.

Comments: I ordered the 6'6 rod for jerkbait fishing. I prefer the shorter rod for the way I fish that particular bait. I like the softer tip. Loads up great.
From: Ethan: Lousiana 4/23/21
Comments: Was skeptical at first because i did not like the original veritas. Ordered the 7' medium action.
Well needless to say i am extremely happy with this purchase. Super light and very sensitive. I think i may have found a rod to switch all of my rods to. Well done Abu Garcia!

Comments: Good rod I bought (2) 6'6" m/h and a medium lites rods ever paired both up with a abu garcia alf 8.0 and 6.4 they weigh 5.6 oz my favorite rods now.

Comments: This rod feels amazing. I used it for crankbait fishing and I felt every wiggle of the bait, every rock, stump... Etc.. Definitely will be getting more.

Comments: Light, sensitive, good value.
From: Unknown: Piney Flats, TN 12/31/20
Comments: I bought 3 of the Veritas Casting 6'6" medium fast rods. I have used longer rods for cranking, but have found that I have much more cast accuracy and enough casting distance to use a shorter rod. This rod is a great value. I like the mini eyelets and use it with braid and a 8' floro leader with a FG knot. You can use a stronger braid and lighter floro leader and still get the lure down deep with the small diameter braid. Great for spinner baits and I especially like this setup for lipless cranks.

Comments: The white handle really caught my eye so I bought 2 rods. They feel really good, cast well and get the job done catching fish. We can't discuss durability yet. However in using the rods the white handles stain from normal handling and are hard to clean, so if they went back to the black handle it would be better as far as I am concerned. I also wish the hook hanger was behind the reel seat as the line sometimes hangs in it.

Comments: I bought the 7'6" frog rod and I have to say, it's probably my favorite! I just got on here so I can order two more. Highly recommend buying a few for yourselves!

Comments: I purchased the new model veritas rod to compare against the older veritas rods I've been using for years. I bought the 7' medium heavy one for throwing spinnerbaits. I was very impressed with the new one. It's as advertised. I caught 60-70 spotted bass at Lake Shasta. It did feel lighter and I liked it! I will be getting more.
