Comments: Helpful product. I'm a bass newbie and these players and the rings have helped a ton.

From: Keith: Vancouver WA 10/2/23

Comments: Great idea but expensive for plastic

From: Unknown: 9/6/23

Comments: Outstanding product. Easy to use and and crossover rings last much longer that o rings. However crossover bands are too expensive and not sold in bulk.

From: Unknown: 8/25/23

Comments: These make using and storing the Crossover Rings so easy. If you like the Rings - these are a great addition to the tackle box or bag.

From: Mark: Shelby, NC USA 8/12/23

Comments: Works great for all plastics when ringing wacky or Neko style. The storage in the handle is a great idea from VMC, you have everything you need always together. It saves time, very efficient.

From: Tim: Columbus, Ohio USA 7/25/23

Comments: A must have if you use the rings. Very simple to use and I like the little storage compartments.

From: Unknown: Raleigh, NC 7/6/23

Comments: I got this as a Christmas gift and was super excited. I really like it, but on my last trip (only the second of the year) I quickly that you can't put the harnesses on the larger stick baits. The bigger ones that fit, slide off when you either get a bit or catch a fish. The smaller ones will not to the middle of the baits, esp on the Lil generals. I ended up buying another wacky tool to use for these baits. Guess I will stick with that.

From: Kurt: CO 7/1/23

Comments: Once you figure where to position the ring in the right place, they work fine.

From: Daveyboy: Pennsylvania 7/1/23

Comments: These work great for every size except the 3mm rings, and with those it is a struggle at best. Definitely good with the bigger sizes, and a great add to your bait if you're wacky rigging.

From: Mark: Virginia 6/18/23

Comments: Great investment and perfect for wacky/neko rigging. I would definitely recommend to anyone who uses these techniques often.

From: Richard: Meriden, CT 5/3/23

Comments: These pliers work great and I like the storage in the handle.

From: Bassmaster: East Coast 4/15/23

Comments: Work OK. It is not as easy as I thought it would be to get the ring in the right spot on the worm, and then pull the worm out of the pliers after you have installed the worm.

From: Unknown: 4/10/23

Comments: The crossover pliers from vmc work just as good as the metal ones for half the price, very pleased with them.

From: Terry: 3/20/23

Comments: The VMC Crossover pliers work very well for the intended purpose. I also use them to build spinnerbait and jig skirts.

From: Paul: Asheville, NC 2/21/23

Comments: The VMC pliers are well made easy to use and work well on Neko rigs. They are lightweight and durable I carry them in my tackle bag. I researched alternative products and concluded based on reviews this was a must have tool for wacky/neko rigs

From: Unknown: 1/15/23

Comments: These are definitely the best o ring solution on the market for whacky/neko. It's confusing to buy the right size o rings since there are so many, the ones that came with the pliers are the correct size for a strike king Ocho.

From: Will: 11/12/22

Comments: I like these pliers and the VMC ring system is nice in that it offers multiple ring sizes and hook placement options. The pliers are light weight and offer ring storage in the plier handles. Standard rings can be used, but I like the VMC rings as they offer a very neat wacky or Neko rig hook placement due to the rings positioning holes.

From: Unknown: 10/6/22

Comments: These wacky rigging pliers are the best. They make it easy to put the worm in the ring and it's nice that there are hollowed out channels in the pliers for the worm to fit. These pliers let me get a much tighter fit between the ring and worm, meaning fewer stolen worms.

From: WD: Texas 8/25/22

Comments: Love this tool. It makes it easy to rig a worm. It is nice to have a slot to store a few rings in the handle.

From: Stacey: Mississippi 7/23/22

Comments: They seem to work as advertised. I like the storage in the handles

From: Butch: 7/23/22

Comments: They work well. I don't like the VMC rings that come with them, but they work just as well with the Frenzy Wacky saddles. Design wise, they work better than the tube style wacky tools, that's for sure.

From: Lynn: Utah 7/20/22

Comments: Good quality pliers They do the job of installing the sleeves very well I would recommend for a wacky rigging set up

From: Terry: 7/5/22

Comments: These babies work well, be nice if the "barrel" was smooth to allow easier sliding but just a small complaint.

From: Casey: Idaho 6/28/22

Comments: These are awesome! I don't use the crossover rings, I use surgical tubing instead and these do a good job. No rust, quick easy re-rig.

From: Casey: Troy, Idaho 6/26/22

Comments: Best method I've found to neko rig without tearing the worm on every fish. Was genius to make the handles hold the crossover bands. You don't have to go looking for them. Use these wacky style or neko style.

From: Unknown: 6/19/22

Comments: I love it! Fast and easy to get me back fishing not time consuming like other tools. Actually makes for longer durability.

From: Clint: Macon, GA 5/11/22

Comments: I have the other tool for wacky; but this is so much nicer. I can use it for all thicknesses of worms even the ones I make myself.

From: Unknown: 5/7/22

Comments: Picked these up before going to Santee Cooper and while I already had a wacky ring tool I just like buying stuff so I figured I'd pick this thing up and I'm really glad I did, way quicker and more efficient than wacky tool and you can put rings on a number of different baits very very easily. Sliding the bait through the ring and removing the pliers really isn't that hard at all either. Lol Seems a bit expensive at first but honestly I can see the same paying for itself in the future during tournaments or a wacky rig is a Key deal

From: Matt: Miami, Fl 4/16/22

Comments: Absolutely horrible design. Using a 5" Senko and an 8 mm crossover ring, the pliers work great for placing the ring on the bait. But once that's done and you release the pliers, instructions say "while holding one end of the soft plastic, pull the pliers away from the rig."  Know what happens when you do that? Yup, Senko rips apart every time.  Update: Don't follow the silly instructions; look for a great Tacticalbassin video that shows how to use the pliers. Once I followed that, it's real easy to use. Hint: you don't ever pull on the bait after the ring is placed: rather, you slide the ring off the pliers into position and then just release the pliers. The video makes it very easy to follow. Now for the hookup ratio: LOVE the #7 rings for 5-inch senkos! Didn't miss a fish probably because of the perpendicular arrangement of the hook that the ring allows when wacky rigging. And the durability is insane: must have caught 10 fish on one senko. That's about 7 more than I would have gotten without the VMC ring or even with an O-ring. So, I'm sold!

From: David: West Orange, NJ 4/11/22

Comments: Work well, a little narrow on larger baits but still functions.not sure about the durability.

From: Gary: Unknown3/14/22

Comments: These are great for the cross over rings. Only issue I have found is the opening is not wide enough for the stick baits when stretched out.

From: Danny: Santee, CA 2/17/22

Comments: They are an excellent product and really user friendly, they also come with 4 of the crossover rings in the handle

From: Will: Texas 12/29/21

Comments: Great looking pliers! The storage dept. for the O rings is a great idea. The O ring concept was great giving you two options: Wacky Rig or Neko rigging! Your Senkos or any other soft stick bait you choose to use will last longer!

From: Richard : Newburgh, IN 12/24/21

Comments: I haven't had an opportunity to use these on the water yet but, trying them when I got them I think they are going to be really good. No more sliding rings up a tube and trying to juggle that plus the Senkco to position it in the right place. Looking forward to using them for real.

From: Unknown: 12/23/21

Comments: Nice tool and just works. Am concerned with durability as very light weight construction. I like to "buy once cry once" and respect my tools. L shape makes them susceptible to breakage in tackle box. When these break, I will try my snap ring pliers.

From: Frank: West Hills, CA 12/13/21

Comments: Great concept makes putting on rings a snap. The storage is a added bonus!

From: William: Georgia 12/5/21

Comments: Great Tool, makes it alot better than the old way.

From: Michael: Houston, Tx 10/26/21

Comments: Really digging these pliers. Makes it easy to put on the Crossover rings and the storage compartments are a huge plus.

From: Ryan: San Diego, CA 10/21/21

Comments: I like them. The pliers make it very easy to position your ring on a soft bait.

From: Matt: SC 10/14/21

Comments: Works great, easy to put rings on various size plastics. Made of some type of composite and seams durable.

From: John: Texas 10/6/21

Comments: Great tool for installing the rings. I would like to see a little heavier version. They feel flimsy in my hand but they do work.

From: Delbert: Farmington, NM 10/3/21

Comments: Solid product. Does what it supposed to. Makes getting the sleeve over worms a breeze. Well made and the compartment in the handles is a  nice touch.

From: Daniel: Redding, Ca 10/3/21

Comments: Very nice piece of equipment! Light weight and functions as needed. Love the storage compartments.

From: Randy: West Monroe, LA 9/30/21

Comments: XOver pliers are fantastic. Make a higher tier plier that has more durable ring cases without increasing the unit weight. Thanks.

From: Unknown: 9/22/21

Comments: Great tool and I really like the compartments in the handles that you can put the rings.

From: Unknown: 9/22/21

Comments: These pliers are well designed and function well,I would recommend picking some up.

From: Art: Memphis, TN 9/14/21

Comments: Great tool, The little storage compartments is a nice feat as well.

From: Unknown: 8/8/21

Comments: These pliers work exactly as described and the two storage compartments for the storage of the rubber bands are very convenient. As far as the applying of the band to the worm, a pair of needle nose pliers does work just as well, but the storage compartments makes it so nice.

From: Donald: Brazil, IN 7/15/21

Comments: Works well with there products and orings!

From: Curt: Elk Grove, CA 6/9/21

Comments: Really like these Pliers. I used to use the o-ring on senkos and other stick baits and they would last, but they would slowly break the senko in half and when your skipping under docks and trees all day I   would usually go threw acouple of senkos without actually setting the hook. With these pliers and their crossover ring you don't have to hook into the senko, so it will last a lot longer. Skipped a senko all day under docks on Smith Lake and didn't break the senko and the rings are really sturdy and don't break the senko in half. If you really like a wacky/ neko rig then you should give these a try.

From: John: Warner Robins, GA 6/2/21

Comments: This has been a game-changer for the way I wacky rig now so much easier and baits hold up so much better.

From: Mark: Newington, CT 5/28/21

Comments: Purchased as panfish reel on 7ft light action rod. Casts and works smoothly. Just what I was looking for.

From: Lon: Elkhart, IN 5/10/21

Comments: I love these pliers, they are well made and lightweight. The only problem is the collars and trying to take the hook out when changing worm color.

From: Andy: Spring Grove, IL 5/10/21

Comments: Works GREAT good storage space inside.

From: George: Lafayette, LA 4/9/21

Comments: The Pliers are cool. They work as described. They have a few collars with them but no large ones for 5" senkos. You may even want to use them to make a few skirts.

From: Unknown: 4/25/21

Comments: Waited on these for bover a month to come in, it was well worth it.  The action on the bait is like no other. Plus the baits lasts 4x longer than regular o-ring or just thru the plastic way of rigging. Definitely recommend these, love that your extra sleeves store in the handle in different sizes.
