Great jig rodI have a Medium heavy power fast action and it is my favorite rod for my deep jig fishing. I throw 3/4 and 1/2 ounce football jigs in 15-30 feet of water with this rod and it has the backbone and power I need yet is also lightweight and sensitive enough to pick up on light bites and bumps. I caught my PB 6Lb largemouth on this rod and it handles it great. Rod loaded to the middle of the blank and had great power during the drag pulling fight. Best 100 dollar rod I have used so far.

Best $100 spent of my lifeThis was my first ever baitcasting rod that I had bought. I didn't know what to expect from this rod because I hadn't done much research on it. But, I really didn't need to research it because it has been doing fantastic. I've had mine for about 2 years now and it is a do everything rod(7ft mh fast). I've thrown frogs, small swimbaits, jigs, Texas rigs, Ned rigs, top waters, it honestly is the best rod I've felt at this price range. I've got over 100 fish on it ranging from catfish, pike, largemouth, and smallmouth. The top guide is basically indestructible because just about everything fishing trip I go on, I scrape the tip on the trail. Pairing it up with a daiwa tatula CT is just magnificent, I've been able to bomb lures across the pond and skip jigs under trees no problem. Best all around rod for $100!!!

Honestly the best $100 rods out thereI own a couple of these casting rods and a bunch of the spinning rods. The 7'4 frog rod is a great action but I don't like it cause the handle is so long so it constantly hits my arm when twitching it. That is the only bad thing I can say about this whole series. I have the 7'6 Heavy rod. I use it as a flipping stick. It's a little tip heavy but I mean for $100 you got to expect that. And other than that it's super nice. I don't understand how these things aren't sold out 24/7 because they are that good for the price. VERY VERY nice rods so if you want a great budget rod they are right here.

med/ fast rod stiffer than MH/fastBeautiful rod but, I had a Tatula Elite MH/fast (TTEL711MHFS) rod and wanted to get a med/fast rod. After receiving it I could tell it was stiff so I tested it with weights beside the MH version and it is stiffer in the action and in the power.

Comments: I ordered the 7' Medium Fast action. This rod feels like an Extra Heavy, Extra Fast rod, not a Medium Fast. Its STIFF. The tip hardly bends so casting lures that aren't 3/4 oz or higher is extremely difficult. I've swapped to using this as a frog and jig rod with heavy braid because of how stiff it is, and I still have a hard time casting those heavier weight lures because the tip doesn't load up on the back cast. I have about 10 fishing trips on the rod and its still very very stiff, not sure if I need to break it in more or what, but it doesn't perform like a Medium power rod should for mid weight lures

Comments: This rod is pretty light and feels very good in the hand; preforms like its far more expensive then it is.

Comments: I got the 7'4" heavy Frog rod from another retailer a couple weeks ago after iCast release and this rod is awesome. Fit & finish is solid for a $99 rod. Actions is spot on for a frog rod: tip not too stiff but not too parabolic. Has easily pulled big bass out of early season Chickamauga slop. No issue with distance throwing my ol'faithful SPRO Bronzeye 65 & Stanley Top Toads. My old go-to frog rod was the Dob 735c which is a great rod but the new Tatula XT 7'4" weights 4.6oz where the Dob 735c weights 6.4oz. There's a noticeable weight difference in hand which will be nice after a full day of froggin. We'll see how it holds up this fall after pounding mats on Chick but the initial verdict is: positively surprised with the quality & action.
