Comments: I have now had both the 7'3 medium and 7'10 med hvy for about 5 years and these rods are awesome. Have caught well over 100 fish on each of these rods and they are awesome. I use the 7'3 medium almost strictly for 1.5 size square bills around cover and the 7'10 for larger square bills and some deep divers. The 7'3 is one of my favorite rods to use and has boat flipped a few 4+lb bass and has had enough power to stand up to some 40" pike. I highly recommend these rods and will be buying more in the future.

Comments: It's a great rod but, I don't feel like it's a true moderate action. I've lost more fish than I've caught due to the fish throwing the bait. Jerk bait, popper, walking bait, wake baits, all with excellent treble hooks. Maybe more of a chatter/spinner bait rod. Maybe it's just me. I'm not a pro by any means but I have an Okuma moderate action that I use for crank baits and I can honestly say I've never lost a fish it.

Comments: I've had mixed luck with Abu rods in the past, but pulled the trigger because I liked the idea of a 6'4" rod with the shorter handle. It's great for up to 1/2oz topwater baits (non-frog). I liked it so much I got the 6'6" rod for heavier topwaters. Should serve well for jerkbaits too. I have a wide array of rods (St. Croix, Falcon, Loomis, Dobyns etc.) and I'm really enjoying fishing with these so far.

Comments: Absolutely love this rod, it is a great crankbait rod! Handles bass perfectly, I purchased the 7' med heavy and it's perfect for the smaller crankbaits like the DT6 and comparables! Ike done a great great job design these series of rods
