Comments: I bought the 7'3 heavy rod, as a frogging rod. Paired up with a Diawa Tatula Type R. This rod is a bit heavy, but I will not complain about the weight. Because I've had about an 80-90% hook up ratio last season with this setup. This rod has great backbone and great action. I will recommend this rod to anyone!

Comments: I've bought the 7'2" MH Glass rod about a year ago and it's absolutely perfect for throwing a chatterbait. I have since bought another identical rod. I have one paired with a Daiwa Tatula CT 7.2 gear ratio and the other with the same reel in 6.3 gear ratio. Absolutely love these setups. These rods will throw the 1.5 square bills as well with no problem. Love these rods!

From: Ryan: California 1/23/21

Comments: Rod looks nice. The grips are tacky. But I got the 7'2MH mod fast and it seems like really heavy.

From: Raymon W: Oklahoma 12/4/20

Comments: Rod is good and all but. i dont know if the little silver thing that has holes in it is made as a hook keeper but i did use it as one and after a few weeks it came off. The rod itself is good but i would of liked a conventional bait keeper.

From: Ryan: Clear Lake 11/8/20

Comments: The lightest rod for it's price point. My 7'2 mh is perfect for average jigs and light swim jigs and it works very well. The rod is honestly my new favorite all around rod.

From: Luka: Illinois 9/21/20

Comments: Got a 7'6 light action rod for finessing smallmouth and trout. rod felt great and had a good action but the rod snapped about a foot down from the tip on the very first fish I hooked, a 9 inch rainbow trout. I've never had any problems with shimano rods before, so this was a real surprise.

From: Josh: Ontario 7/2/20

Comments:I ordered the 7,4 heavy for frogging and punching an couldn't be happier. It's light, sensitive and has great action. If your looking to buy one do it you won't regret it.

Comments:Got the 7'3 heavy for all heavy applications (jig, frog, small swimbait/ glide bait, flipping heavy cover) and paired it up with a curado K. Awesome rod. For the price point handles incredibly well and was not used to the sensitivity it gives me. Feel every little tick from a fish. Looks sleek and works wonders. Main grip is like nothing I've ever felt before. Downsides would be the hook keeper can be difficult to fit certain style baits in and takes a little finessing to fit it in and risk scratching the blank. Along with this the bottom grip is a somewhat soft foam that I am trying to be careful with as I don't want to tear it up. Last small issue is it isn't the lightest rod in the world but then again I haven't had a rod this long before and at the price point the weight is completely justifiable and not an issue. Overall amazing rod well worth the money.

Comments:Bought the 7'8 XH for flipping grass and decided to throw an A-Rig on it the other day. Was blown away with how well it handled it. The grip material is awesome, especially in wet conditions. The foregrip doubles as a hook keeper which is really cool! I plan on buying more models

From: Beau: Guntersville, AL 1/27/20

Comments:Looks and feels like a 300$+ rod. Super impressed with the quality and attention to detail rod is insanely high detailed. Shimano killed this one for a lower 100$ class rod

From: Unknown: 1/9/20

Comments:Just got this rod shipped in today @10 AM. Couldn't help, but pair it up with a brand new Scorpion DC and take it out to hit the water. Rod feels GREAT and is TOO Lightweight for the price. Quality and feel of the Grip is amazing. Get yourself one and if you're not amazed send it my way. ;)
