Comments: Overall, I have been very satisfied with the 7'3" MH rod. I primarily purchased the rod to fill my void of a light pitching/jig rod. Due to most of the midwest lakes being extremely high this summer, I got my share of pitching. This MH rod has more of a heavy action. If you looking for a rod to accurately pitch, this isn't it as there is very little tip action. Where this rod shines is at it's ability detect strikes dragging a jig/plastics over deep structure. This rod is VERY SENSITIVE and has the backbone to drive the hook in deep water, but it is very light and doesn't wear you out in a day's fishing. The rod guides are rock solid and have not bent after being fished hard this summer and out on the boat deck with the elements. This has now become my #1 jig/worm rod for offshore bassin. It will also make a great night rod when sensitivity is most important.

Comments: I purchased the Lew's Pro Ti Speed Stick Casting Rod 7' Med Hvy when they 1st came out. Nice rod, sensitive but is worth the extra money, not to me. I have several Falcon bucoo 7 med heavy that are a lot less expensive, and are just as sensitive as this over $200 rod . The difference in price is not worth it. I like this rod and have caught a lot of fish with it but to me it is not any better and any of the Falcon bucoo rods I fish that cost only $99.
