Comments: I guess the pair I bought wasn't as good as the pliers they reviewer before me purchased. I am very picky about fishing tools (all tools). They would NOT cut fluorocarbon. $27.00 in the toilet. Sick and tired of spending good money on garbage I have dozens of braid cutters that won't cut braid, pliers that do not close all the way and fishing tools that rust in a dry tackle box. Rapala this is the last time your going to take my money.

Comments: Got the 6inch pair any the pliers are pretty nice and smooth and the hinge does line up perfectly and all the teeth align well enough...I'm pretty picky on pliers if I'm spending more than 15 0r $20 on them. The built in line cutter works great for mono and flouro and just ok for braid Only gripes I have is that the metal doesnt seem that tough since i flattened out a few teeth on them just trying to bend up some frog hooks. They are still perfectly usable just annoying to me, these are more for light duty stuff and unhooking fish and cutting line maybe a split ring or so(they dont have the tip meant for split rings but actually do a decent job cause of fine tip and teeth) The other thing is the sheath is kinda crummy or flimsy. Good design for the sheath just bad execution if that makes sense. I got em on sale and I dont regret buying them but at full price you can find a better set
