Overview

Over two years in development, the Megabass Sonicside Crankbait was created to fix all of the problems previously associated with flat-sided crankbaits. Delivering unrivaled casting distance and stability at high speeds, the Megabass Sonicside Crankbait features advanced aerodynamics and precisely placed internal weights that allow it to fly through the air like a bullet and not blow out during fast retrieves. Its tight-pitched wobbling action also makes extremely deadly in cold water conditions and allows it to excel around heavily pressured fish.

The Megabass Sonicside Crankbait is fitted with a tough circuit board lip as well that is reinforced on the underside to prevent the lip from flexing when contacting cover for more erratic deflections and increased durability. Armed with two sticky sharp treble hooks, the Megabass Sonicside Crankbait provides tournament-ready performance that outshines the rest of the competition.

Comments: Absolutely killed it on the Wisconsin river with this lure in wild craw recently. Caught countless smallies, a few 20" walleye, and some saugers. I even caught a few pyke, which I hate to do on a $20 lure, but the paint job held up exceptionally well. Top colors for me up here have been bahama milk pearl, gp perch and wild craw. Between the S Cranks wide wobble and this lures tight action, Megabass has squarebills covered.

Comments: Looks great catches a few fish but is absolute over priced garbage purchased three and by the end of my hour long chance to fish I ended up with a split ring on the end of my line only thing I ever hit on a cast was the water what a shame that they have no durability Maybe they could hire someone to do quality control with the absurd amount of money they charge for a lure.

From: Ron: Whitehouse, Ohio 12/24/20

Comments: I bought this bait in the  Bahama Milk Pearl color and then sat on it awhile without using. Finally thought I would try it on a overcast day when they should be biting, but weren't. First cast caught a 3-1/2 pounder, then on the very next cast felt a tick on a crankbait like I hadn't ever felt before, it was a 5-3/4 pounder. Obviously I was sold. Went to the tackle store and bought two more backups in that Bahama Milk Pearl.

From: Sonny: Mechanicsville 12/1/20

Comments: I have two of these, and I can't say I've thrown them a whole lot, but I have caught some fish on them. I definitely haven't caught any giants so far, but the thing I find interesting is that I've caught fish on these three different times on three different lakes. All three times I had already had very tough days before tying on the Sonicside. I'm definitely in favor of a bait that can get the skunk out of the boat when a lot of my standard go to's aren't working.

From: Zack: West Virginia 6/5/20

Comments: Had a good day with Tennessee Shad color on Dale Hollow 3.5 and a 4 in 10 minutes then it cooled off. Has a tendency to find snags and does not seem to be a good choice where there is a lot of wood that's s crank territory. Hate losing $20 so throw it in cover at your own risk.

From: Unknown 3/30/19

Comments: Went cold water fishing today. Water temp was 39*. Tried dropshot, bladebait, suspending jerkbait (110+1).  Nothing. I tied this on and had 3 fish within 30 minutes.  2 were very large pickerel.  The bait held up fantastically.  Not a scratch to be found.  Very impressed with it.
