Overview
Born from the harshest seas and the world’s toughest gamefish, the Nomad Design Swimtrex Lipless Crankbait boasts the same technology as it’s salty cousins and will outperform all other lipless crankbaits on the market. Featuring a patented AutoTune system, the Swimtrex Lipless Crankbait never rolls and tracks top dead center every single cast, which allows anglers to fish it at any speed, including extremely fast or slow. It is also shaped and balanced to create an ultra strong vibration on the retrieve, but when sinking on the pause it produces a super unique swimming and hunting action that is unlike any other lipless crankbait and will help trigger more bites.
Armed for battle, the Swimtrex Lipless Crankbait is made using a special formulation of High Density ABS plastic that is much more durable than plastics used in most production lures so you can fish through the heaviest of cover and target aggressive gamefish without any problems. It also features Triple Shield Protection, which provides three final coats of super tough clear resin for even more protection. Ready to fish right out of the box, the Nomad Design Swimtrex Lipless Crankbait is equipped with sticky sharp BKK treble hooks for unmatched hook ups and landing ratios.

Comments: I feel compelled to add that I fished this thing very slow and at all kinds of other speeds (and line from 10lb to 14 lb), and it still swam like garbage.

Comments: I feel compelled to counter some of the negative reviews for this lure. I strongly suspect the auto-tune system on this lure is throwing some people off here. Like most lipless baits, fishing them too fast will cause them to blow out to the side. Because you don't feel a traditional vibration from this bait due to the auto-tune, I think it may be easier to fish it too quickly, causing the types of issues of rolling on their side other anglers are describing. I've fished these things a good amount as they became my go to lipless over this past fall. The flutter on the fall, while quick, is definitely unique and the bait works as advertised from my experience.

Comments: Bought a bunch of these on sale during the holidays. Glad Tacklewarehouse has such a strong return policy as the only thing good about these lures is their appearance. They do not wobble like normal lipless baits, it turns to the side while cranking and does not run true. Also, if you're trying to use with the yoyo technique, any bit of debris on the hooks will totally destroy the action. I really had high hopes for these, but there were too many shortcomings of this lure to keep it in my tacklebox.

Comments: Fished mine for the first time a few days ago and was not happy. It swam on its side. Yes, it has a cool flutter but I am fishing 2-3 feet of water, so I don't need or care about flutter. You can't really tune this bait. What the heck? I will fish it again, maybe try smaller line, but so far I am not stoked.

Comments: Hopping or yo-yoing the bottom or over structure makes this lipless crankbait shine ! Swims on the fall ( slack line ), down to the desired depth like a glide bait, then ( on the rip ), a tight cadence on the retrieve like a lipless lure. I'm telling you I have whacked some whoppers doing this retrieve, otherwise it works no different than any other " trap style" bait. The Swimtrex does have a " softer rattle " that is money on calm days, clear water, and when fishing heavy pressured tournament lakes. The Nomad Design Swimtrex Lipless Crankbait comes in sizes to catch fish from shallow to deep, and is offered in many bass slaying colors. I will be ordering more ! Tight Lines !

Comments: This is a bit deceiving. Mine don't swim like a rattle trap, or hunt. Mine roll over on their side when reeled, 8 out of 10 times. Does it flutter down? Yes, quite fast. Think silver buddy if you are fishing it. I was kind of disappointed to be honest.

Comments: No hookups "Yet" but I have put it in the water and let me tell you this is a game changer lure. Vibrates like a rattle trap, hunts like a fluke, and you can burn it and it will run true. It got a swipe from something this morning but the missed the trebles.
