Outkast’s original Pro Swim Jig has been winning tournaments all across the country and the new Outkast Tackle Heavy Cover Edition Pro Swim Jig is ready to tackle the thick stuff. It features a 5/0 VMC heavy wire hook that’s great for pulling fish out of dense vegetation, as well as, a beefed up double barbed keeper that holds your soft plastic trailer securely in place. It also host a new glued silicone core skirt that adds flare to the skirt and keeps the strands from twisting or bulking up on one side and effecting the balance of the jig. VersatileI was suprised as I can fish this jig on both fluorocarbon and braided line with good hookups. Swims straight no matter what kind of trailer I use too. Great jig!

Comments: This swim jig is no joke! The magic craw color paired with a netbait swimbait as a trailer claps big bass! It is made well with a great weed guard and strong hook. It makes a super good bluegill imitation that fish can't resist!

Comments: I love these jigs. I have even used the White/ Rainbow with a boot tail minnow on the flats in Florida when the redfish and snook come on the flats to chase baitfish in the spring. I love it around the mangroves because it does not hang up and I have had 10 to 15 fish days when the baitfish are around. Around home it works well for bass feeding on baitfish around cover and open water too. The tinsel on the white/rainbow gives a lot of rainbow (prismatic) flash like a baitfish, but it does tend to get bent up and a little broken after a good day of catching fish. I can usually forgive that after a good day of fishing.

Comments: This jig in the magic craw color w/ a Bluegill Flash Colored Boottail as a trailer is the most realistic (clearwater) bluegill swimjig you have ever seen. This hook is no joke, you can throw this only 15 lb fluoro all the way up to 65 lb braid. The Black Blue with a saphire blue rage menace is my goto for dirty water grass fishing, they absolutely choke this thing.Use a craw trailer if you want it up in the water column making a lot of disturbance or use a boot tail if you're fishing deeper/through stuff or if you're trying to look more natural. I normally fish bluegill imitators, so i haven't messed around with the shad colors yet.
