Comments: Slimmer / tighter fitting than the Stick Jacket brand I had been using. Unfortunately, I have four Abu Garcia spinning rods that this cover just won't go over the stripper guide because the fit is too tight. I bought two of the spinning covers. One of my spinning rods had a smaller stripper guide, so it fit snugly over that one. The other one just wouldn't fit over any others. I swapped the one that fit to see if it was bigger, but had the same issue on four other rods. So it wasn't just the one cover. This brand of spinning rod cover is just a tighter fit. I actually like that for all of the casting rods. Unfortunately, it just wouldn't work on most of my spinning rods, so I'll have to go back to Stick Jacket for those.

Comments: BUY THESE, BUY THESE, BUY THESE!!! 100%! This rod sleeve did its job, very well! I had both my curado dc bait caster, and my Sedona spinning reel paired with a quantum fishing rod in the back of the truck. After fishing, drove to Walmart and on the way home had noticed my rod ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!! Mind you, the road speed limit was 55 MPH, and it was dark! No idea how it was spotted. The reel took a little beating but survived and is fully functioning. The rod had a few minor scratches but not a single eyelet broken! This would have been a different story had I not had the rod glove on my rod!! I have 5 combos and all of them have these rod gloves (in pink)! Will continue to buy these! The rod sleeve itself is in perfect condition still! I really believe the rod glove acted as a kite and glided my rod to safety.

Comments: Love the rod gloves. Just got one for a 6'6" St. Croix Premier spinning rod. Fits pretty well but I wouldn't use it for anything longer - go to the XL.
