Overview
Joining the family of the highly successful Little John Crankbait Series, the Spro John Crews Little John Micro DD 45 Crankbait is an ultra compact finesse style crankbait that puts fish in the boat when nothing else will. Featuring a flat-sided design, the Spro John Crews Little John Micro DD 45 Crankbait produces a tight wiggling action and subtle vibration, which is key in cold water conditions or when there is increased fishing pressure from other anglers. The signature DD bill shape also allows it to dive deeper and deflect off cover better than other finesse flat-sided crankbaits on the market. A fixed internal weight system makes it fly through the air like a bullet as well, so anglers will have no problem generating long casts and covering miles of water, even with a baitcasting set up.
Perfectly tuned and balanced, the Spro John Crews Little John Micro DD 45 Crankbait will run true at any speed and provide a slow float when paused, which is deadly on lethargic and pressured fish. It is also completely silent and produces a more subtle profile in the water to put more fish in the boat when the bite is tough. Armed with a set of premium Gamakatsu Round Bend Treble Hooks for unmatched hook setting performance, the Spro John Crews Little John Micro DD 45 Crankbait is a must-have for every angler’s crankbait arsenal.

Comments: Tried the new micro 45 last year me and my wife had real good luck on three different colors can't go wrong with a little John

Comments: Great colors and action. I caught a little bass when nothing else worked on my first trip of the year. I have always liked all SPRO products.

Comments: I recently purchased one of these. I am a Spro fan, especially the Little John series. I would give this bait an "ok". It is a little light on the cast and after the cast. The bait needs to be thrown on 10 pound max line and could probably be better on 8 pound line. It does fill a small window in my crank bait set up.

Comments: Recently purchased 2 of these. First time out struggling that day tied on the DD45 & caught 8 in short order. The subtleness of this bait I think was the key. As noted below, you cannot over reel or reel this bait too fast or it will blow out easily. Nice smooth steady retrieve works best. I think a real winner in tough conditions or pressured fish. I caught fish on the Matte shad color (Have not used the Green Craw yet). My set up was a Daiwa Tatula 100 baitcaster with 8# mono on a Seth Feider 6'9" jerkbait rod (this is a great small crankbait rod too!).

Comments: Good action when reeling. You cannot reel this lure very fast or the lure will twist on you. As with all Spro's the hooks are very sharp out of the box.

Comments: Big fan of Spro cranks. This Micro DD fills the niche for a smallish bait that dives deeper than typical (will get down to about 5 feet it seems). It also casts very well for a small crank. You can zing it pretty good. Like all Spro cranks, it comes with quality hooks/split rings and the finish is good. The only negative I have for this bait is that it won't track true at any retrieve other than SLOW. It will actually roll over in the water at any moderate to fast retrieve. If you are looking for a burner, the Micro DD is not it. But for slower applications, I like the bait fine.

Comments: The Spro DD45 is a unique bait, for it's size it casts relatively good, great for tough situations, the bait is made for a slower retrieve, another good tool in the box.

Comments: SPRO has done it again, another great bait. caught several good fish on this bait this past week. Great option to downsize when bite is slow. Good color selection.

Comments: This bait is very light weight and should probably be thrown with a spinning setup. However, it is very well made and dives down pretty quick. The DD 45 is killer with cold front or picky bass especially smallmouth. The bait also has a very subtle action which is what it is designed for.

Comments: Another good crankbait from Spro when fished slow, it will roll if you try to crank it down hard.
