Comments: I usually change stock trebles out for gama short shank ewgs or mustad short triple grips. After using the og slim and tiny and seeing the stock hooks on them, I never thought I'd say it but these VMC trebles are the deal and my new favorite replacement I think.

Comments: Not a big fan of most of VMC's terminal tackle. Their hooks usually are not very sharp or durable. The hooks that come on Rapala's DTs--you can press the prongs of the hooks together between your fingers with less pain than opening a snap. These hooks are not like that, though. I first used them on the Ott's Garage baits, on which they come stock. I'm pretty happy with them. I have since put these into my replacement treble hook lineup. Sizes 3 and 5 are indispensable since none worth buying is available from anyone else. Highly recommended.

Comments: I mostly always use Owner ST-56 or Gama EWG short shank 2x hooks for the added strength on all my treble hook baits but for small reaction baits that normally use a #6 hook, I find these VMC short shank in #5 are awsome, very sharp, strong and well made hook here, I first noticed them on my 13 fishing jabber jaws in #4 size and thought a #5 would do well on my smaller megabass lipless and blade baits and I'm loving them for those applications.

Comments: While I've never been a big fan of VMC hooks I will admit that these hooks are the real deal. They are strong and very sharp and the fact they are available in size 3 and 5 are a bonus.
