Comments: The Zoom Beatdown Worm in electric shad, is a phenomenal bait during the shad spawn. I love it best when Bass are feeding on surfacing shad schools in summer and during fall, rigged on a heavy wire 1/0 wide gap hook, casted into center of school, and free falling, they can't resist it.

Comments: I have actually put this on the back of a jig, and fished it on the bottom very slowly, almost like a shakey head. It's obviously great on a ned head, considering this is a ned worm, but it is versatile.

Comments: My go to Ned bait. Perfect size that is in between the original TRD and the big TRD. It's not going to last as long as Zman plastics but I have caught as many as 8 on one bait rigged on a lifted jigs EWG Ned head.

Comments: I have used these as a ned bait and they work, but I love these in the winter. Rig them on a mini texas rig, work it painfully slow, they will catch so many fish. The bait is actually not that soft but still has great action. Definitely a must for winter fishing.

Comments: The Zoom Beatdown is an "in between" Ned stick bait size in that it fills a void between the Z-Man 2.75" TRD and the larger 4" Big TRD . There are also some nice colors such as : Houdini , GP Purple & Gold and the infamous Watermelon Red not offered by Z-Man (or other Ned stick worm makers) . I like to roll the last 1/2" of the tail between my fingers which does two things : it roughs up the Beatdown slightly to release any salt present to get the tail to float up slightly , as well as slightly lighten the color just enough to add a little contrast which I believe is that little something extra bass find attractive . The Beatdown is a nice blend of being soft yet durable enough to last several fish (a single drop of Super Glue Gel on the jig head works wonders) . Besides a Ned Rig set up - try the Beatdown on a shakeyhead or rig it in reverse with a 1/16th oz. nail weight in the head , o-ring slid on at the center and #2 VMC Neko hook to finish the Neko Rig . The only draw back of the Beatdown is the typical Zoom plastic manufacturing smell - which I tame down with a shot of BANG garlic scent spray ...

Comments: Great Ned rig bait! I was worried at first that it wasn't elaztec plastic for the buoyancy and action, and that is the truth, it does not behave like elaztec. However, it is a great length for a new Ned rig look, and sometimes I've found I catch them more on this bait over elaztec. Don't know why but also don't care! I like the "Blueberry" and "California 420" colors.

Comments: I used the entire pack in a morning. One-and-done type, but Zoom products catch fish.
