Super RodI got the H Hittay and I love the rod I have big hands and this rod is big and comfy for my hands and very light almost like a duckett triad rod beautiful rod, and cast like a dream very happy.

Good rod, Large diameterI bought the 7'4" B-Hittay. The rod is light and very sensative, BUT the diameter of the rod at the reel seat is basically twice the diameter of the vast majority of casting rods. Reviews say "plenty of backbone", which is true I suppose, but if I had known it was that fat I would have passed on the rod. It just feels uncomfortable in my hand. I'm going to keep using and see if I get used to it because I do really think it's a great rod.

Comments: I purchased the money maker and it is my favorite rod. Only downside is the second guide from the tip broke off when trying to get unstuck from a lay down tree. I lost the guide so I couldn't try to repair it. Other than that, it's an amazing rod. I got it paired with the ark reel as well.

Comments: Recently purchased the 7' Hammer. Love how light it is & the feel / cosmetics. With that said the rod is very stiff & has little to not much tip flex. I'm 5'7  so I flip with a 7'  rod. Hopefully it will grow on me. The lightweight will certainly help on a heavy flipping day!

From: Steve: Moss Point, MS 5/14/23

Comments: Had 2 of them, one eyed jack and medium heavy grinder.. had for about a year and after using them about 20 times I broke both tips off casting. Other then that great feeling rods and well balanced, way lighter then they look.

Comments: These rods are balanced and sensitive. I have the 7 Foot MH extra fast and love it. I own a lot of Dobyn rods all the way up to the champion series. I feel these are lighter than the Dobyn brand and this series is more sensitive than the Champion series. I'm thinking about unloading my Dobyns and replacing them with this series. I am impressed.

Comments: I got the 7'3 mh for 1yr. At first it felt great on the hand. Its not the lightest rod I've held but not the heaviest too. Took it out and definitely not as sensitive as i'd hope it to be. My diawa tatula rod 7'1 mh was a lot more sensitive, especially for bottom contact. Ill say, for $20-50 (depending on specs) more, the diawa tatula rods are more sensitive but if 130 is all you can spend, it's not terrible. It definitely is a versatile  rod.

Comments: I now own 3 Tharp Series Rods I can honestly say for the price they are great. I have the 7'4 mh/modfast B.Hittay which I love, a little heavy but throwing any chatterbait from Original to Jackhammer it's amazing. Also great for spinnerbaits and lipless crankbaits. Also have the 7'6 mh/fast Offshore Special great C-Rig rod but also can handle smaller flutter spoons well. My most recent purchase was the 7'10 MH/mod Rocket Launcher for deep cranking, first thing I started off throwing was a C25, i most saying it can handle it pretty well (I know there are better Rods out the for 10xd and C25s) but this did the job. Everything smaller was perfect no issues caught fish from every size deep crank from a 6xd to a Dredger 25.5. I recommend these rods for any budget fisherman like myself.

Comments: I purchased four of the Tharp Rods while they were on sale. For the sale price, it's not a bad rod. I'm happy I did not pay the full price for these rods. I find the glass rods to be too heavy and feel like broomsticks. The finish on the rod is nothing to write home about. There are only eight guide plus the tip . Many other Rod companies out there have rods with nine guide plus the tip, even some one hundred dollar rods have 9 guides plus the tip.. in conclusion, I would recommend the Fenwick Elite Tech for only $20more ...it's a much nicer rod and is more sensitive...also the I Rods in the Genises series, the Okoma Scott Martin rods and others are better options for only twenty dollars more msrp. I sent an email to the art company. Never received the response. Hope I don't have to return these rods for detects..I have a feeling I'll have a problem with dealing with Art management.

Comments:
Bought two of the 7'3 "Money Maker"rods while they were on sale back in March. I've caught multiple fish on both rods (I use them for soft plastics), the biggest bass being just over 4 pounds. These rods have handled every hooked fish very well. Lots of loading action with the fast tip. I plan on purchasing more ARK rods, even at full retail price.

Comments:Got the King Cobra, best pitching rod I've ever owned and I am constantly searching for that special rod. Nice tip, very light and balanced, good sensitivity you can feel the lights tap. What I love about the rod is the backbone. You can really feel the power of the rod on the hook sets. You can tell a pitcher and a flipper designed this rod. Can't beat the price either.

Comments: I'll start off by saying this. I'm NOT on their Pro Staff, know someone on their staff, or have any affiliation with the company at all. This is just an honest review, and my personal opinions. Now, I'm not sure what the last review was talking about by saying the glass rods are like broomsticks. I have the B-Hittay, Guntersville, and Mag Offshore, and ALL THREE are some of, if not THE, lightest rods I've ever held and fished with. That includes them fully set up. That even includes the Guntersville Heavy setup. DEFINITELY the lightest flippin stick I've ever worked!! Sensitivity, Strength, Feel, and if it matters to you, looks /cosmetics, are what you are going to get with these rods. You're not going to find another lineup of rods with all those attributes for this price point. Actually, these rods outperform some rods that are double their price. As far as my experience using different fishing equipment, I'm usually on the water 3-5 days a week, and fish for a check. So basically. I have to have, and depend on, quality and dependability in ALL my equipment I use on the water. These rods have the attributes I look for, and have far exceeded my expectations. Should definitely give them a try for yourself. I think you will be more than happy with these rods, and I highly recommend them.

Comments: Ark honey badger series 7'3 H. The finish is good. Its a light rod, not as light as my diawa tatula but light enough. Sensitivity isnt there as compared to my tatula rod. Great rod still, great for moving baits like chatterbaits, spinners, swim bait etc. Bottom contact baits, it can do the job as any rod can but the sensitivity isnt there completely.

Comments: Ordered the 7ft medium heavy xf hammer. I was worried the taper of the rod would be to fast, but when I received it today is was exactly what i was looking for. About 25% of the tip bends then goes straight to backbone. This rod is incredibly light compared to higher end rods I have used from st. croix and dobyns etc. The reel seat is very comfortable as well. Great overall construction with this rod series. If you compare a other similar rods to this, I feel as if this rod has more sensitivity. But that's just first impressions. I cant wait to get this rod on the water and test it! Great customer service by the way.

From: Jacob: Seymour 1/22/20

Comments:If you are looking for a great vibrating jig rod, look no further than the ARK B-Hittay model. After catching only 2 of 10 hookups on a previous trip with a chatterbait set up on a stiffer graphite rod, my first trip out with the B- Hittay I went 8 for 8, with most fish totally choking the chatterbait. Highly recommended, especially at this price point.

From: Mike: Colorado 10/4/19

Comments:About to switch all my rods over to the Tharp Series. For this price you wont find a better rod. Feel great and look great too. Very light and balanced for a $130 rod.

From: Will: AL 9/23/19

Comments:Recently bought the 6'9 One Eyed Jack. Excellent rod. Does everything well. No matter what you are throwing. Light and very sensitive. Makes catching the fish that much easier. Would highly recommend.

From: Bradley: Blythe, CA 7/22/19

Comments:Recently purchased the Grinder and the Hammer.Grinder is very good for crank baits with a surprising amount of sensitively but the Hammer might be my favorite rod I own (And I own a lot).Very sensitive and has a lot of backbone for setting the hook. Was on Chickamagua catching some big ones when a 20lb catfish decided to bite my jig.The Hammer drove the hook home, kept the fish pegged, and handled the 5min fight like a boss.

From: Josh:Canton, GA5/9/19

Comments:Just got the "Grinder". This is an incredible rod for crankbaits!! Perfect action, very light and has a lot of backbone. The rod looks very cool also and is very comfortable with the soft grips. Awesome price also. Ark did it again with another great rod!!

From: Phil B:Orange Park Fl 3/4/19

Comments:Very impressed with this Tharp line of rods. I haven't used a rod that compares at this price point. Very light, sensitive, Fuji guides, high density EVA, smooth reel seat with plenty of contact... very nice rods!

From: Dean - Oklahoma 11/29/18

Comments:Recently purchased the Ark offshore special. I am very impressed and happy with the rod, specifically the action.Perfect for Florida fishing! I am replacing Daiwa Tatula and PowelMax 3D C-rig rods. The action of the Offshore special is very similar to a 765 Powell or 764 Powell. It falls in the middle. Hence the Mag-Med Heavy rating I guess. The rod architecture is similar to a Daiwa Tatula. Slim grip with a lot of contact to the blank. Nice job with this rod. The price point is great for this quality.

From: DS DESIGNS:ORLANDO, FL8/31/18

Comments:I bought the 7'3 medium heavy cause I had a good feeling about it. Well, I do like it. It's light and it's sensitive but there is one problem in having it for just 2 weeks. The tightener to tighten my reel to the rod is part way busted. This sucks so I guess I'm gonna have to reach out and see what can be done.

From: Eric:Monroe, WI6/16/18

Comments:Picked up the 7' 3" Money Maker, the rod is crazy sensitive and can cast lighter rigs a long way. This rod is super lightweight. I have a MH Avid X which I love and this rod compares pretty close but for $70 less. I'll be adding more.

From: Zach:Colorado5/9/18

Comments:I bought a Sniper, Invoker and a Tharpie. I was extremely impressed with all 3. The Tharpie was the 7'11" Guntersville Special. The rod has exceptional balance and is extremely light for the length and power. I only got to fish it for 1 day before Disaster struck (everything stolen, including boat) but I will be rebuilding my arsenal with Ark rods as I can. I have fished Powells, Fenwicks, Shimano, Dobyns, Loomis and many others but these are the BEST performance to dollar rods I have ever held.

From: George - Castaic, CA 5/2/18

Comments:Recently got the 7' MH x-fast for C-rigs and T-rigs and wow - love it! It's super light, super sensitive and has lots of backbone. Hard to beat this rod for the price!
